Jakarta, 21 July 2026 — The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) via its official Instagram account @infobmkg issued an Indonesian Weather Early Warning which is valid for the next 3 days, namely 21–23 July 2026. This warning is an important highlight considering the weather dynamics in Indonesia which are currently still quite active even though some areas have entered the dry season.

BMKG emphasizes that preparedness is key in facing potential hydrometeorological disasters and extreme weather. The public is advised to proactively monitor weather developments in their respective areas.
🌧️ Latest Weather Conditions in Indonesia
Based on BMKG data, even though the dry season has expanded in a number of regions in Indonesia, the potential for extreme weather still needs to be watched out for. Some areas still have the potential to experience moderate to heavy rain which can be accompanied by lightning and strong winds.
This condition is influenced by several atmospheric dynamic factors, including Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO) activity, atmospheric waves, and local atmospheric lability which is still sufficient to support the growth of rain clouds in a number of areas.
📢 BMKG Important Advisory
